SEOUL, South Korea [Oct 21, 2025] — The Korea Web3 Embassy today announced its collaboration and partnership with Boundless, marking a significant milestone in advancing zero-knowledge (zk) research, infrastructure, and real-world applications within Korea’s rapidly evolving blockchain ecosystem.
The goal of this partnership aims to explore collaboration across zk proving infrastructure, hardware innovation, and academic-industry cooperation — further cementing Korea’s position as a regional hub for secure, compliant, and advanced Web3 technologies.
Advancing ZK Infrastructure in Korea
Under this collaboration, the Korea Web3 Embassy will explore contributing proving capabilities to the Boundless prover marketplace, supporting scalable and efficient zk-proof generation for global partners.
The Embassy is also evaluating novel hardware configurations optimized for zk proving, which will be hosted within AhnLab Blockchain Company’s proprietary datacenter — one of the most secure facilities in Korea, managed by the nation’s leading cybersecurity firm, AhnLab.
This localized approach aligns with the Embassy’s broader mission to establish sovereign Web3 infrastructure that ensures both technical resilience and regulatory trust.
About Boundless: The zk Prover Marketplace Powering the Future of Verifiable Compute
Boundless is building the prover marketplace for the decentralized internet, enabling developers and protocols to tap into scalable, efficient zk computation powered by distributed provers.
Boundless has already made major strides in shaping the zk ecosystem:
🛰 Partnered with to launch a zk network powered by Risc Zero, bringing verifiable interoperability to one of the most widely used cross-chain protocols.
🔒 by integrating zk restaking, increasing cryptographic assurance for re-staked networks and enabling verifiable security guarantees.
⚙️ — a zk coprocessor for the EVM that executes Solidity code without gas limits, opening the door to high-performance, verifiable smart contract computation.
By connecting the Boundless prover marketplace to Korea’s institutional-grade infrastructure, the Embassy and Boundless aim to make Korea one of the world’s most capable proving regions — a critical step toward decentralizing the zk compute layer globally.
Research, Academia, and Real-World zk Applications
Beyond infrastructure, the Korea Web3 Embassy and its partners with Boundless will explore zk technology’s role in real-world use cases — not only across Web3 but also in traditional (Web2) applications such as privacy-preserving authentication, verifiable computation, and secure data sharing.
Through collaboration with academic institutions, industry stakeholders, and research partners, the initiative will promote education, standards development, and innovation in zero-knowledge technologies.
With AhnLab, FACTBLOCK, and Kintsugi Technologies uniting under the Korea Web3 Embassy banner, the partnership brings together trusted institutions with proven track records in cybersecurity, event-driven ecosystem building, and blockchain infrastructure — ensuring Korea’s zk initiatives are recognized globally for both rigor and reliability.
About Korea Web3 Embassy
Korea Web3 Embassy is a strategic consortium uniting FACTBLOCK, Kintsugi Technologies, and AhnLab Blockchain Company to bridge global blockchain networks with Korea’s rapidly evolving Web3 ecosystem. With a focus on localized node infrastructure and ecosystem development, the Embassy positions Korea as a key hub for secure and compliant Web3 innovation in Asia.
About Boundless
Boundless is the universal ZK protocol that makes blockchains internet-scale. Its novel incentive mechanism, Proof of Verifiable Work (PoVW), and native token $ZKC reward prover nodes for generating proofs that power L1s, rollups, bridges, and applications across all ecosystems. PoVW turns proving itself into the source of new value, making ZKC the first ZK-mined token.
By offloading execution to Boundless and verifying proofs onchain, compute becomes abundant rather than scarce. As more provers join, capacity grows and blockchains, once bound by computational limits, become verifiable infrastructure that scales like the internet itself.
